Mahjong has become one of the easiest hobbies to shop for: players love beautiful tiles, a good game night, and anything that makes the table feel special. Here are our favorite gift ideas for the mahjong player in your life, or the friend you want to bring into the game.
For the player ready for her own set
A complete American mahjong set is the gift every new player hopes for. Our complete sets include 160 acrylic tiles, four racks with pushers, betting chips, dice, blank replacement tiles and a vintage-style carrying case.
- Velora Zodiac set ($399): rich purple tiles with zodiac motifs, for the player who loves color.
- Astera Americana set ($399): classic red, white and blue, a natural pick for summer game nights and patriotic hosts.
- Amora Pink Heart set ($399): pink hearts and soft colors, a favorite gift for her.
For the player who already has racks
The Pavora Peacock tiles ($349) are tiles only: 160 tiles with no racks or case. They're a great upgrade for someone who already owns racks and wants a new look at the table.
Under $50
Our premium acrylic racks with pushers ($49.99 for a set of four) refresh an older set and make a thoughtful host gift.
